Ms. Courtney Kaniatobe
Hello everyone!!!
My name is Courtney Kaniatobe, and this will be my fourth school year teaching Art here at Tibbals Elementary. Art is a huge passion of mine and has always been an emotional and creative outlet for me. Drawing is my absolute favorite! (We do a lot of guided drawing in my class.) I also love to paint and use mixed media, especially scrapbook paper.
Music is another passion of mine. I have been singing and performing since I was old enough to talk. I typically have some sort of tune in my head, and most of the time, you will hear me humming or singing. I enjoy listening to many genres of music, from show tunes, worship, country, classical, and 80s! Every now and then, I get to lead praise and worship at my church!
Teaching Art has been a beautiful way of combining my love for teaching with my passion for art.
My goals this year:
- To provide students with a safe and fun teaching environment.
- To instill in each student that they matter and are loved by me.
- To provide the creative outlet needed for each individual student.
- To expand each student's thought process about the world around them, using the tools physically and mentally given to them in the Art room.
